New to Contra?

New dancers welcomed! No partner necessary! No experience necessary!
If you can walk, you can contra dance
If new, consider joining in the fun lesson/orientation a half hour before the dance. If you can't make that, show up anyway, you'll pick it up!!
Many of us bring clean, soft soled shoes to change into to protect floors. At the very least, clean the sand, salt and pebbles from your soles.
Bring friends for more fun!

Each dance is taught, then danced to live music for about 5-8 minutes
Everyone makes mistakes but nobody cares
The more you do it, the easier and more fun it becomes
